Business Development Manager

What will you be doing?

This person will be primarily focused on selling all of our services outlined below to new and existing clients and therefore must have some experience of the products below.

Websites – Mobile 1st, database driven and or eCommerce solutions

Content – Video / Photography / Interactives / infographics

PR – Offline and Online creativity using the content we have produced

SEO – Technical aspects of optimisation

Paid Search – Social / Youtube / Google


  • Establish a customer base through prospecting companies around the UK.
  • To respond to inbound sales enquiries, have the acumen to qualify an opportunity and commercial experience to confidently talk about budgets.
  • To meet clients face to face and provide consultancy for their marketing enquiries selling in a suite of SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
  • Spot cross-selling opportunities for existing clients 
  • Marketing our services to our target audience
  • Proposal writing
  • Responding to tenders
  • Consultancy with our prospects
  • Hold face to face meetings and lead presentations 


Main Responsibilities
  • Add value to the CRM
  • Reporting on sales statistics
  • Closing new business from cradle to grave 


Key Attributes
  • Minimum 12 months proven experience in sales
  • A passion for success, proven track record and knowledge of digital marketing
  • Have a passion for digital 
  • Have an interest in marketing strategies and business growth 
  • Can demonstrate a desire for success
  • Motivated by a challenge
  • Keen to progress and take on responsibility in the senior team

This role will primarily be based in our northern office.
